Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria Indications

Are you considering the need to test a patient for PNH?

• had unexplained thrombosis in the hepatic or portal vein?

• had unexplained thrombosis in any other vein?

• had recurrent episodes of intravascular hemolysis that are negative on direct Coombs testing?

• have hemosidurinuria and/or episodes of hemoglobinuria?

• have an unexplained cytopenia?

• had an episode of aplastic anemia?

• have refractory anemia or myelodysplasia?

• been recently transfused?

• just had a significant episode of hemolysis?

• have signficant leukopenia?
