The 6-click mobility score can be used to quickly assess a hospitalized patient's mobility status. It is a subset of questions from the Activity Measure for Post-Acute Care (AM-PAC) related to mobility.
Items:
(1) turning in bed
(2) sitting down into and standing up from chair
(3) lying on back to sitting on side of bed
(4) moving from bed to a chair
(5) walking in the hospital room
(6) climbing 3-5 stairs with a railing (? steps)

Interpretation:
• minimum score: 6
• maximum score: 24
• The higher the score the better the mobility.
• The number of patients discharged home exceeded those not discharged home for scores >= 18.
Performance:
• The c-statistic for discharge destination was 0.78.
