Risk factors:
(1) recurrent blunt trauma to the axillary regions
(2) prolonged use of crutches
Arteries affected:
(1) axillary arteries
(2) brachial arteries
Arterial lesions that may occur:
(1) aneurysm
(2) thrombosis
(3) stenosis
(4) distal embolization
(5) axillary mass formation
