Godeau et al developed a bleeding score for evaluating an adult with autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura. This can be used in diagnosis and for monitoring response to therapy. The authors are from the French AITP Study Group.
Parameters:
(1) cutaneous bleeding
(2) intra-oral bleeding
(3) epistaxis
(4) hematuria
(5) gastrointestinal bleeding
(6) gynecologic bleeding (in females)
(7) ocular bleeding
(8) age
