Patient selection: rheumatoid arthritis
Time frame: past 7 days
Parameters:
(1) 10 cm VAS scale from 0 (no fatigue) to 10 (totally exhausted), from 0 to 10
(2) number of days with fatigue in past 7 days (from 0 to 7)
(3) average duration of fatigue in hours (less than 1 hour=0; several hours=1; all day=2)
Has fatigue resulted in or made it:
(4) lack of physical energy
(5) difficult to bathe or shower
(6) difficult to dress
(7) difficult to work or do other daily activities
(8) avoided making plans
(9) affected social life
(10) cancelled plans
(11) refused invitations
(12) lacked mental energy
(13) forgotten things
(14) difficult to think clearly
(15) difficult to concentrate
(16) made mistakes
(17) felt less control in areas of life
(18) felt embarrassed
(19) been upset because of fatigue
(20) felt down or depressed
