Cerebral Sinus Thrombosis Clinical Findings

• presented with unilateral hemispheric symptoms (hemiparesis, aphasia, etc)?

• developed bilateral hemispheric signs and symptoms?

• have seizures?

• had behavioral changes such as delirium, amnesia or mutism?

• have an altered state of consciousness, including coma?

• have evidence of intracranial hypertension with papilledema and/or diplopia?

• have a hypercoagulable state?

• have evidence of an infection or trauma involving the head?

• have one or more risk factors for stroke?

Number of hemorrhagic infarct(s) seen on brain imaging studies

Are the infarcts confined to the territory of a cerebral artery?
