Description

Entities that generate hazardous waste are classified by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) based on the amount and type of hazardous waste generated. The class determines what compliance measures must be taken.


Parameters:

(1) total weight of hazardous materials generated per month in kilograms

(2) weight of acute hazardous materials generated per month in kilograms

(3) weight of acute spill residue or soil per month in kilograms
