Jalan et al reported a score for evaluating a patient with acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF) for the CLIF-Consortium. The authors are from multiple institutions in Europe and members of the EASL-CLIF Consortium.

(1) age in years

(2) CLIF organ failure score (CLIF-OF, from 6 to 18)

(3) WBC count in 10^9/L
