Howes et al listed criteria for adequate treatment response for a patient with schizophrenia. The authors participated in the Treatment Response and Resistance in Psychosis (TRRIP) Working Group.
Patient selection: schizophrenia on therapy
Criteria for adequate treatment response - all of the following:
(1) symptoms no more than mild in severity
(2) response sustained >= 12 weeks
(3) impairment rated as mild or better (score > 60) on the Social and Occupational Functioning Scale (SOFAS)
