Congenital stridor in a neonate may be due to several conditions.
Conditions associated with stridor in a neonate:
(1) laryngomalacia
(2) vocal cord palsy
(3) congenital subglottic stenosis
(4) tracheobronchomalacia
(5) vallecular or supraglottic cysts
(6) complete tracheal rings
(7) vascular rings
(8) laryngeal myxedema secondary to congenital hypothyroidism
