Infection:

(3) deep and opportunistic fungal infection

(5) Q fever

(6) Whipple's disease

(7) leishmaniasis

(8) toxoplasmosis

(9) schistosomiasis

(10) brucellosis

(11) yersiniosis

(12) LGV

 

Chemical or foreign body exposure

(1) berylliosis

(2) zirconium

(3) foreign body reaction

(4) silica

(6) talc

(7) cocaine

 

Malignancy:

(1) carcinomatosis (malignancy sarcoidosis syndrome)

(2) malignant lymphoma (Hodgkin's, non-Hodgkin's)

(3) pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis

 

Immune dysfunction:

(1) Churg Strauss syndrome

(2) giant cell arteritis

(3) common variable immunodeficiency

(4) primary biliary cirrhosis

(5) hypersensitivity pneumonitis

(6) Crohn's disease

(7) sarcoidosis

(8) Wegener's granulomatosis

(9) polyarteritis nodosa

(10) SLE

(11) orofacial granulomatosis

(12) Blau's syndrome

 

Other:

(1) dialysis

(2) drug reaction

(3) Histiocytosis X or Langerhans granulomatosis

(4) chronic granulomatous disease (leukocyte oxidase defect)
