While Fasciola hepatic tends to migrate to the hepatobiliary system, sometimes it gets lost and ends up somewhere else. Making the diagnosis in this situation can be difficult and requires a high index of suspicion.

(1) abdominal pain
(2) recurrent fevers
(3) eosinophilia
