Description

Keteyian et al reported an equation for predicting the maximum heart rate for a patient with heart failure who is being treated with a beta blocker. The authors are from Henry Ford Hospital, Wake Forest University, Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (Nancy), Hackensack University, Duke University, Washington University and University of Western Ontario.

Patient selection: heart failure receiving beta blocker therapy
