Fatmah derived equations for estimating height in Indonesian adults based on arm span, knee height and sitting height. The equations based on arm span were the most accurate. The author is from the University of Indonesia in Depok, West Java.
Patient selection: Indonesian Javanese, ages 55 to 85 years
Arm span was measured using a 2 meter height ruler.
