Description

A number of extrapulmonary findings may be encountered in a patient infected with Mycoplasma pneumoniae.


Dermatological findings may include:

(1) Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS)

(2) toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN)

(3) erythematous maculopapular rash

(4) vesicular rash

(5) bullous exanthem

(6) erythema nodosum

(7) pityriasis rosea

(8) erythema multiforme

(9) subcorneal pustular dermatosis

(10) urticaria
