Fatigue is a relatively common problem for patients with rheumatoid arthritis. It tends to be more common in patients with certain findings.

Factors associated with fatigue:
(1) female sex
(2) depression
(3) anxiety
(4) anemia
(5) greater disability
(6) low level of social support
(7) social stress
(8) poor sleep quality
(9) greater disease activity including pain
(10) other causes of fatigue (hypothyroidism, etc)
