Is the patient at high risk for noncompliance?

Does the patient admit to being nocompliant when questioned?

Does a family member or acquaintance report that the patient does not take the medicines as directed?

Has the patient failed to respond to appropriate therapy?

Does the patient respond to therapy when it is given under observation?

Are serum drug levels low or absent when higher levels should be present?

Does the patient refill prescriptions as often as needed to comply with the drug regimen?
