Chemicals present:
(1) lysergamide (LSA)
(2) ergonovine and ergometrine
(3) lysergic acid alpha-hydroxyethylamide and related compounds
Most users are looking for an LSD-like effect (LSD = lysergic acid diethyamide) but this does not occur.
Clinical features of the intoxication:
(1) acute psychosis, with risk of self-harm
(2) sedation
(3) autonomic dysfunction similar to scopolamine
