Hepatocellular (hepatic) adenomatosis is a rare condition with multiple hepatocellular adenomas within the liver.
The number of adenomas required to be designated adenomatosis varies. The most often cited is >= 10.

It is more common in women.
The risk factors are the same as for hepatocellular adenomas. Metabolic disorders (diabetes, obesity, etc) were more frequently encountered with adenomatosis.
Complications are similar to hepatic adenoma:
(1) malignant transformation
(2) rupture with intra-abdominal or intrahepatic hemorrhage
