Description

The Irish Children's Triage System is used to triage pediatric patient coming to the Emergency Department.


Patient selection: abdominal pain or isolated abdominal trauma

 

Shared parameters:

(1) hemorrhage

(2) abnormal age-related vital signs

(3) shock

(4) Glasgow coma scale

(5) penetrating or blunt chest/abdominal/pelvic trauma

(6) pain

(7) dehydration

(8) blood in urine

(9) vomiting or diarrhea

(10) duration

(11) history
