Interpretation:
• A woman with a J-score of 3 should respond to hormone-directed therapy.
• A woman with an equivocal J score may or may not respond to hormone-directed therapy. The number of patients falling into the equivocal group is small.
• A woman with a low J-score may respond to aromatase inhibitors.
Limitations:
• Reproducible results requires strict adherence to the testing and scoring guidelines.
