circular resection of the body of the gallbladder, leaving the cholecystic duct origin, including the wall attached to the liver

same as type 1 but without wall attached ot the liver

resection of the distal fundus (fundectomy)
4
wedge resection from lateral wall along peritoneal aspect
Type 1 represents about 80% of subtotal cholecystectomies.
Type 2 represents about 18%.
Type 3 represents 1-2%.
Type 4 is rare.

fundus first then moving proximally; then transection of the proximal portion of the gallbladder (moving distal to proximal)
1B
transection of the proximal portion of the gallbladder first with progressive removal of body and fundus (moving proximal to distal)

visceral wall first with hepatic wall second

excision of the visceral wall
2B
transection of the cystic duct; excision of the visceral wall; excision of part of the hepatic wall
