Description

Via et al reported a lung ultrasound score (LUS) for monitoring a pateint for respiratory distress syndrome (RDS). The authors are from the University of Pavia, Azienda Ospedaliera Niguarda Ca Granda (Milan), Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School.

(2) left posterior

(3) left lateral

(4) right anterior

(5) right posterior

(6) right lateral

Interpretation:

• minimum score: 0

• maximum score: 18
