Kim et al used a modification of the Charlson Comorbidity Index to evaluate Korean patients on hemodialysis. This can help to identify a patient who may benefit from more aggressive management. The authors are from Seoul National University, Eulji University, Ewha Womans University, Wonkwang University and Korea University.
