Description

Cheung et al evaluated patients with nasolacrimal duct obstruction. They identified problems for the patient before and after surgery to correct the obstruction. The authors are from Prince of Wales Hospital and the University of New South Wales in Australia.

Interpretation:

• minimum score: 0

• maximum score: 18

• A patient with a clinically significant problem may have one or more severe responses and/or multiple moderate problems.

• Successful treatment of the duct obstruction should result in improved scores.
