The NICHQ (National Initiative for Children's Healthcare Quality) and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) have sponsored a set of tools for evaluating children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) developed at Vanderbilt University. The follow-up scale monitors the core 18 symptoms for ADHD, child performance and adverse effects of medications based on the observations of the parent. This can be monitored over time to determine the child's need and response to interventions.
