Description

Duan et al reported two nomograms for patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus treated with esophagectomy and adjuvant chemotherapy. One nomogram predicts disease-free survival (DFS). The authors are from Tianjin University Cancer Institute and Hospital and Tianjin Key Laboratory of Cancer Prevention and Therapy in China.

Patient selection: squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus status post esophagectomy

Parameters:

(1) gender

(2) tumor length in cm, from 0 to 14 cm

(3) T status

(4) N status

(5) number of chemotherapy cycles

points for tumor length =
