Scabies can infest the male genital region, affecting the penis and/or scrotum.
Sites affected:
(1) penis (shaft, corona, glans, prepuce)
(2) scrotum
Clinical lesions:
(1) discrete papules
(2) larger nodules
Lesions are often pruritic but not scaly.
The patient should be examined for skin lesions at other sites.
An attempt should be made to positively identify the parasite or other diagnostic feature.
