Recovery after anesthesia can be assessed using the score of Robertson et al. This is slightly more complex than the recovery score of Steward (above)
Parameters used in score:
(1) consciousness
(2) airway
(3) activity
Assessment is performed at 1 minute intervals for the first 8 minutes and then at 10 minutes after the general anesthetic agent is discontinued.
