Route of administration: intravenous infusion
Parameters:
(1) eGFR in mL/min per 1.73 sq meter, using the equation of Matsuo et al, with upper limit set to 130 mL/min per 1.73 sq m
(2) loading dose in mg/kg
(3) maintenance dose in mg/kg
(4) tough in µg/mL
Outcome: associated AUC in µg•h/mL
(1) 400 is the lower limit of therapeutic range for maximal bactericidal effect
(2) 560 is the upper limit of therapeutic range for safety
