The Quality of Life (QoL) Fatigue Score measures how much fatigue affects the patient's quality of life by assessing 5 characteristics of the person's energy levels. This can be used to monitor a person's level of fatigue over time and response to interventions.
Statements:

(2) I feel tired, worn-out, used-up or exhausted.
(3) I wake up feeling fresh and rested.
(4) Fatigue has interfered with my work, family or social life.
(5) Fatigue has been one of my 3 most disabling symptoms.

Interpretation:
• minimum score: 5
• maximum score: 30
• A score >= 17.5 (average score 2.5 for each statement) is felt to be the critical level for identifying patients with fatigue.
• A reduction in the score of 6 or more points is considered a substantial improvement.
Purpose: To use the quality of life fatigue score to measure a person's level of energy.
