Main compartments:

A: rectovaginal septum and vagina

B: sacrouterine ligament and pelvic wall

C: rectum and sigmoid colon

If there is no endometriosis in a compartment then the grade is 0.

Designation for each site:

Additional sites in retroperitoneum (designated F for far):

FA: adenomyosis

FB: bladder

FU: ureter

FI: bowel proximal to rectosigmoid

FO: other site (abdominal wall, etc)
