direct nephrotoxicity

Russell viper

hypotension

 

hemolysis

 

 

Other factors for AKI:

(1) delay in seeking medical care

(2) failure to use snake antivenom

(3) pre-existing kidney disease

(4) administration of nephrotoxic drugs
