Description

Encinas et al reported a simple score for predicting the risk of severe infection in a patient with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma. This can help to identify a patient at high risk for infection. The authors are from multiple institutions in Spain belonging to the GEM/PETHEMA cooperative study group.
