Shah et al reported a simple score for predicting periprocedural hyperglycemia for a patient undergoing coronary angiography. The score may also be applicable to other procedures. The authors are from Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Health Care System and New York University School of Medicine.
Patient selection: coronary angiography

(1) insulin and/or sulfonylurea therapy
