Description

Zheng et al correlated the systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) and serum C-reactive protein (CRP) concentration with the severity of acute pancreatitis in children. These can help to identify a patient who may require more aggressive management. The authors are from Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University in China.
