The Fatigue Impact Scale is based upon the patient's perceived impact of fatigue on his or her quality of life over the previous month, considering cognitive, physical, and social aspects. It can be used for patients with Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis or any disorder for which fatigue is a major clinical component.

• A higher score is associated with greater functional limitations.
