The Spinal Deformity Study Group proposed a classification of lumbosacral spondylolisthesis.
Patient selection: L5-S1 spondylolisthesis
Parameters:
(1) slip grade in percent
(2) sacropelvic balance
(3) global spinopelvic balance

where:
• The sacropelvis is balanced if there is a high sacral slope and low pelvic tilt.
• The sacropelvis is retroverted if there is a low sacral slope and high pelvic tilt.
• The global spinopelvis is balanced if the C7 plumb line runs between the femoral heads and sacrum.
• The global spinopelvis is unbalanced if the C7 plumb line runs anterior to the femoral heads OR posterior to the sacrum.
