Description

Lai et al graded outcomes for surgery to repair the lateral thoracic outlet syndrome, with compression of nerves and/or blood vessels that traverse the axilla. The authors are from the University of Sydney and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Australia.


 

NOTE: The term "thoracic outlet syndrome" is also used for structures in neck and superior midline thorax.

Modifications:

(1) excellent outcome: asymptomatic and normal performance
