The TIMI (Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction) grades of coronary recanalization have been used to describe recanalization of cerebral arteries after thrombolysis.
Patient selection: acute ischemic stroke
Parameter:
(1) degree of recanalization

partial
2

3
Interpretation:
• The rate of a favorable outcome after 3 months is highest for TIMI 3, followed by TIMI 2, with TIMI 0 or 1 showing similar outcomes.
Performance:
• Other grading schemes may provide more information by dividing partial reperfusion (TIMI 2) further.
