The tire speed rating indicates the maximum service speed for that tire.
General rules:
(1) Ideally all tires on the vehicle should have the same speed rating. If not feasible then the same rating should be used for each wheel on an axle.
(2) The speed rating for a vehicle is limited to the lowest speed rating.
(3) The speed rating is not an indicator of handling or cornering ability.
