Description

Evans et al reported the TRAGIC+ score for evaluating a pediatric patient after traumatic injury. It can help to identify a patient who may require more aggressive management. The authors are from the University of Texas Houston, University of Pennsylvania, Texas A&M University and University of Texas San Antonio.

Patient selection: 0 to 18 years status post trauma

Parameters:

(1) Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS)

(2) systolic blood pressure in mm Hg

(3) body temperature in °C

(4) sex

(5) race

(6) age

(7) injury type
