• 1 mL equals 16.23 minims. According to Richardson and Richardson (Table 2.4), 1 mL may be measured as 15 or 16 minims to simplify calculations.
• The measures appear to match the US (as opposed to the British) fluid measures.
• A pint (US) is 0.473 liters.
• An avoirdupois dram is 1.77 grams or 1/16 of an ounce, or about half of the apotheecaries' measure.
