Mungroop et al reported the alternative fistula score (a-FRS) for the risk of fistula following pancreatoduodenectomy. This was subsequently updated to include minimally invasive pancreatoduodenectomy. The authors are from multiple institutions in Europe.

Patient selection: status post pancreatoduodenectomy

(2) pancreatic duct diameter in mm, truncated at 5

(3) body mass index (BMI) in kg per square meter
