V-CLIP Scoring System of Kaseb et al for a Patient with Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC)

Purpose: To evaluate a patient with hepatocellular carcinoma using the V-CLIP score of Kaseb et al.

Description

Kaseb et al modified the Cancer of the Liver Italian Program (CLIP) score with the addition of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This can help to identify a patient who may benefit from more aggressive management. The authors are from the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.


Patient selection: hepatocellular carcinoma
